South Tyneside Images is non-profit making and any income from sales of pictures goes back into the running of the project and, therefore, conservation of more pictures.
Low-resolution images for personal use only may be directly downloaded and printed out.
If you are interested in using an image for publication or commercial use you must first obtain written permission from us and there may be a charge for such use. Some images remain the copyright of the photographer and require their permission before use in publication or commercial use.
Before we add images to the database we are contacting photographers and copyright holders to secure their permission before adding images to the website. If you have images in the collection at South Tyneside and would like to these to be added to the online catalogue please do contact us.
